Birds flying high - The Name

It was on a cold, dark January evening, drinking our tea and talking about it all;
life, love, challenges, strength, dreams, doubts, goals, disappointments, the beauty of giving, caring, the hurts, the lessons, the embraces and compassions that life so happily likes to mix up. But most importantly, we were talking about the wisdom rising out of it all. Now we were asking ourselves... how can we share and give back?
Blog, of course. What other way is better reaching out to you all if not a blog?
So we decided to get on it, and needed a name...
The name
While we were sipping on our tea, somewhere in cold January Stockholm, not only were our souls warmed by the tea, but by lovely and inspiring Nina Simone, whom we both love and are inspired by. Her music was playing in the background and her song Feeling good came on.

There it was, our name chose us... we looked at each other, and without a word we knew... that was the name of our blog: Birds Flying High.
Thats what we are.
Two birds, reaching for their goals, free, working on reinventing themselves daily, fierce and fearless... we are the birds flying high.
